RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Work closely with the Superintendent and Asst Superintendent on all irrigation repairs, troubleshooting, programming, and planning.
• Monitor moisture levels using soil moisture meter and apply water when needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with daily duties as needed.

DUTIES & TASKS

• Formal education in Turfgrass Management, or experience in golf course maintenance and/or irrigation.
• Experience with Rainbird irrigation systems.
• Understanding of the game of golf and how it pertains to the set up and maintenance of the course.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A Class 5 driver’s license is necessary.
• A valid Pesticide Applicator’s License is an asset but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $4,000.00-$5,000.00 per month

Note: This is a part-time seasonal job from April to early November. Wage is $20 – $22 per hour based on experience.

Furry Creek Golf Club Restaurant and On-Course Servers

We are seeking positive experienced individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. Operating the concession stand and beverage cart on the golf course, serving in the restaurant, bartending, and assisting with service at weddings and tournaments. An excellent seasonal job, especially if you thrive on a small team and like to hustle to provide excellent service and make good money. Serving it Right is required. Schedules are flexible and the leadership is accommodating to a healthy work-life balance. Golf is of course complimentary. There is plenty of room to grow with Furry Creek as our club and community is growing.

We are hiring team members for the upcoming season now. You will assist with the operation of the Sea to Sky restaurant, On-Course concession stand, as well as weddings and events.

Preparing excellent food per Chef’s instructions, cleaning as you go, and supporting the team. Some experience is required, and further training will be provided.
