landscapes and ideal climate, so it seems fitting that Arbutus
Ridge employees are passionate about the environment.

Arbutus Ridge Golf Club (ARGC) continues its commitment to
environmentally sustainable practices, and socially responsible
management with the following key initiatives:
The GolfBC Group is pleased to introduce for 2008
‘GBC Family Golf Day’ in
June. GolfBC continues to lead the Canadian Golf

‘GolfBC Free Lesson Month’,
‘Kids Play Free at GolfBC’,
‘Beginner Friendly Certification’ and
‘Take-a-kid to the Course Week’ (in
partnership with the NGCOA).
Arbutus Ridge Golf Club has received certification in

The plan was developed by Ron Olaussen, Superintendent, who is also
recognized for his effort to plan for environmental
