rich

history

Furry Creek is known as “British Columbia’s Most Scenic Golf Course” – and for good reason. Surrounded by the sparkling Howe Sound Bay, towering aged trees and snow peaked mountains, Furry Creek encompasses what British Columbia is all about. Whether you’re an International Guest looking to experience the beauty of the province, or a local resident reminding yourself why you love where you call home – Furry Creek has something to offer you.

about our

roots

In 1893, Oliver Furry, a trapper turned prospector, saw immense mining possibilities in the area of copper, silver, and gold around the creek that now bears his name. The following mining boom saw a flurry of activity in the vicinity which has since developed into a series of communities through the area. In 1990 initial developments for the golf course began. With its breathtaking beauty, dramatic play and first-class facilities, Furry Creek consistently delivers a world class experience in a spectacular West Coast setting. Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Muir Graves, although famous for golf courses that display his love of the West Coast, Furry Creek is his sole Canadian venue. The course soars to 350 feet above sea level, while winding itself through the village of Furry Creek and along the creek itself, descending to the shore of Howe Sound at the signature 14th Hole.
